BIO
Hi. I’m Sue Haid (aka Susan). I have always loved to draw, paint and make things. As a little girl, I liked to “hole up” and draw. It is where I connected with myself and discovered my personal “flow.”
After a full and satisfying thiry plus year career in urban planning, design and sustainability in the public sector and, with my husband, shepherding three beautiful daughters into adulthood, I am very grateful for the time to reconnect with and explore my passion for art.
In the last three years, I have been focusing on drawing and painting through many workshops as well as studio and plein air work - essentially working on my 10,000 hours to further my abilities in creating art and expressing meaningful moments.
This website is a tool for me to organize and track ideas, progress and evolve in this wonderful chapter of life. I would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have on my work and any art inspirations to support my journey. I look forward to connecting with you.
